Table S1. Average of Joint E-values (JEV) on candidates. When a predicted candidate uses interactions inferred by orthology (expansion of experimental and STRING+ networks), the highest JEV of the predicted interaction is assigned to the candidate. The average of JEVs of the candidates obtained with each method are shown in this table siwht respect to the threshold used to filter interologs (shown in the first column as -log(JEV)). In parenthesesis shown how significant is the difference of this average with respect to the background distribution taht assigns the highest JEV for the non-candidate proteins.
